Sylvia was born and raised in South Africa and serves as the Director of Hartbeat Ministries which her parents Dr. Archibald and Kathleen Hart are the co-founders. She attended Azusa Pacific University, Liberty University and Summit Bible College. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Worship Leading, a Master's Degree specializing in Christian Counseling, and a Doctorate of Ministry in Christian Leadership. Sylvia has served as one of the Worship Leaders at her church for 10 years she is a published songwriter with Integrity Music and has led worship for Ruth Graham and Friend's Conferences. She has published 2 booklets, "A Daily Spiritual Renewal Guide" and "The Life Coaching Workbook for Spiritual Renewal" which she has spoken on at conferences and retreats all over the world. She has taught on two DVD's for the American Association of Christian Counselors and has been a speaker at the AACC World Conference. Sylvia counsels, coaches and trains at her ministry center in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia. She has been married for 26 years to her husband Russ and they have 3 children, Ashley 20, Robbie 18 and Daniel 15.
